What is an Apostille?

The Apostille is an international stamp that confirms the validity of the document on which it is affixed. Apostille is set on the original document or on notarized copies of the documents.

For what purpose is the Apostille needed?

Upon certification by an Apostille the document acquires a legal force in all countries that have joined the Hague Convention of October 5, 1961.
